On Sat., August 2, 2025, a benefit will be held for Samantha Dietz and her family at The Third Rail Bar & Grill in Big Lake in effort to raise awareness for Breast Cancer and help relieve the stress of the family’s financial burdens. 

Organizers are asking for generous donations in the form of money, gift cards, or items to be used in prize drawings and a silent auction. 

Samantha, a mom and bonus mom to five amazing kids (Kaelyn (18), Alex (16), Carlie (13), Vanessa (12) and Penelope, “Pippy, (three)), was diagnosed with Stage 3 Breast Cancer earlier this year.

Samantha and her husband, Brian, are hardworking parents that strive to give their five children the best life possible. Kaelyn, Alex, Carlie, Vanessa and Penelope are all involved in recreational activities such as volleyball, basketball, softball and dance. Samantha and Brian are doing their best to keep their kids’ lives active while also battling financial hardships that a devastating diagnosis brings.
