BELIA thankful for volunteers

Thanks, are in order!

“We have a lot of people to thank who have spent their time and energy helping make Big Eagle Lake a better place,” said BELIA Secretary Lori Andreen in a recent email.

Culver’s Fundraiser 

The BELIA had two fundraising events at the Monticello Culver’s this past Monday and last. Thanks to Jeff and Marie Johnson, Lori Neisess, Adria Pettit, Marcie Swanson, Ken and Lori Andreen, George and Raquel Wallin, Marsha Horton, Renee Christensen, Amanda Swan, and Kathy Brake for their help making this fun fundraiser successful. 

“We are thankful to Culver’s for this opportunity and hope that you came out and enjoyed some good food or treats,” said Andreen.

Adopt-a-Highway 

This past Saturday, the BELIA had another crew of supporters join up to clean up Co. Rd. 75. Thanks goes  to Marie Johnson for heading this up again this year as well as to Connexus Energy for their partnership. Hearty thanks to Hannah Lakin, Scott Brake, Kyle and Leif Nerison, Gordy Westerlind, John Smullen, Ken Andreen, and Jeff and Marie Johnson for braving the perfect weather. It was a gorgeous day to be out!
