Becker T.A.L.K. Program To Host Event

A program titled “Developmental Assets: Building Blocks for Healthy Development and Youth Success” will be held in the Teaching and Learning Center at Becker High School Tues., Nov. 10 beginning at 6:30 p.m.  The event is being sponsored by the TRAK (Together Reaching Area Kids) organization at the school, according to Principal Sandy Logrono.
 
The agenda includes a presentation of developmental assets currently available to area students, a review of a 2014 student survey and an open house at the new BHS Wellness Center, which will give attendees a chance to learn about ways to empower Becker students.
 
Participants will include the Becker district staff, the Dylan’s Hope Foundation, district parents, spiritual leaders, students, mental health professionals, the Becker Police Dept., Sherburne County Probation Office, Sherburne County Health and Human Services and the Sherburne County Sheriff’s Dept.
