Organizers of the 2015 Becker Relay for Life event will sponsor a “wrap-up” party to discuss the recent event and hear suggestions for future programs beginning at 5 p.m. at the Becker City Park on Sun., Aug. 16.
Co-chair Cory Whiting said that the event will include presentations of some “much earned” awards to volunteers for their work in making the event a success, as well as a discussion session to review the results of the 2015 event and hear suggestions to make the event even better in the future.
The event is open to everyone, Whiting said, and she encouraged Relay team members, family and friends to attend and participate. Hot dogs and root beer floats will be on the menu for the event as well.
