BECKER POLICE HELD A “STING” along Sherburne Avenue Friday afternoon after receiving several complaints of vehicles speeding through crosswalks when pedestrians are clearly trying to cross. Above, a four-door car whizzes through the crosswalk as a pedestrian waits to walk.
BECKER PD were there to turn on the sirens and immediately after the four-door passed through, another vehicle (SUV), ignored the pedestrian and whipped through the intersection at Sherburne Ave. and Myhre St. by the high school. Failure to obey the law is a misdemeanor. A second violation within one year is a gross misdemeanor.
