Four people were taken into custody following a home invasion in Becker Township Friday. The incident occurred around 10:00 a.m. in the 152nd block of 59th Street. Robert Suess, 57 of Becker told 911 dispatchers that his home was burglarized while he was in the house. A fight ensued and Suess was subsequently was struck in the face with the butt of a rifle. When the subjects fled, Suess was able to provide a suspect and vehicle description to police.
Moments after receiving the call, officers noticed a vehicle matching the description entering the city of Becker. A short pursuit ensued and the occupants bailed from the car and fled. Over the next four hours, all four suspects were located and arrested. They were Tevon Scott, 26, Burnsville, Chazmere Dooley, 22, Bloomington, James Whilay, 25, Minneapolis, and Ashley Carlson, 19, Crystal. All remain jailed in Sherburne County pending charges of Burglary and assault. Injuries to Suess were minor.
