Fish were once again being fried last Friday, this time at the Becker Community Center during the Becker Lions’ fish fry.

 

Presented by the Becker Lions Club, the event featured all-you-can-eat fish, French fries, coleslaw, rolls and cookies; beer, pop and water were also available for purchase.

 

The crowds were steady throughout the fish fry, with hungry attendees filling their plates and requesting more. By the end of the event 265 people had satisfied their fish craving.

 

Twenty-Five Lions were on hand for the fundraiser, with Becker Cub and Boy Scouts Troop 92 assisting them. Proceeds of the fish fry will be used for various community projects.

 

The Becker Lions extended thanks to the Clear Lake Lions for donating the use of their fish fry wagon again this year.
