JEREMY BEACK AND DONI MARTIN of CentraSota in Santiago presented the Becker Fire Dept. with a grain rescue tube, valued new at $2,200. The device is used to free victims trapped in grain bins. The tubes are placed around the victim in the grain bin so the victim can be secured and safely removed by firefighters. The fire department received the equipment — one tube made up of five panels with a slide hammer - during Thursday’s firefighter weekly meeting.
