Beautiful turnout for Memorial Day

Memorial Day was observed by hundreds who showed their patriotism and pride by attending several of the area remembrances at local cemeteries and memorials.
The Becker American Legion Post 193 visted several cemeteries throughout Clear Lake, Becker and Santiago and the Legion hosted a lunch afterwards at their building.
The Big Lake Legion held services at their war memorial early on then moved services to the Big Lake Cemetery before gathering for lunch afterwards at Third Rail.
The Clearwater Legion traveled to several area cemeteries in the Clear Lake/Clearwater area before gathering at their legion hall for a ceremony and lunch.
