North Star Arts (NSA) is thrilled to announce auditions for its upcoming production of the beloved tale, “The Sleeping Beauty.”
This enchanting story, filled with captivating characters and a dragon, beautiful songs, daring sword fights and breathtaking choreography, promises to be a delightful experience for both performers and audiences alike.
Auditions
• March 17 beginning at 6:30 p.m. at the Elk River High School Little Theatre Door H;
• March 18 beginning at 6:30 p.m. at the Monticello Middle School main entrance.
NSA welcomes adults and children of all ages and skill levels to audition. Whether one is a seasoned performer or a budding talent, this is one’s chance to shine. Prepare to showcase pne’s skills in acting, singing, dancing, sword play or learn these wonderful forms of expression from NSA’s excellent, professional staff.
What to Prepare
No preparation is necessary to be cast in the show (all youth actors will be cast) those adults and children seeking a lead role should prepare a short monologue and 32 bars of a song which reflects the type of character you wish to portray.
Rehearsal Schedule
Rehearsals will begin shortly after auditions, with performance set to begin on May 9.
