On Monday, December 16, 2024, at 7 p.m., the Becker High School Band and Choir will be performing songs of the season at the Performing Arts Center (PAC).  

Come out to enjoy an evening full of holiday entertainment. The concert will be featuring performances by the High School Band, directed by Justin Frerich, along with the High School Choir, directed by Gretchen Bordson.  

The evening will offer a variety of music that is sure to get everyone in the holiday spirit. 

When one enters the school, one will be greeted by sounds of the Varsity Bell Choir in the lobby, in addition to the Acappella Group singing carols in the PAC. The concert will showcase the Concert Choir, Bella Voce Choir and Chamber Choir. 

Also taking the stage will be the Wind Ensemble Band.  

“This is our favorite time of year because we get to collaborate with the choir and play music that brings joy to our family, friends and community,” said saxophonist Adler Herdina.

Following the performances in the PAC, the Jazz Band will be playing some well known holiday favorites in the commons area. 

“You are sure to be filled with holiday cheer after the Jazz Band performance,” said tenor saxophone soloist Micah Horn.  

Here’s hoping all will join the ensembles for a wonderful evening of music, along with refreshments provided by Clearwater Family Chriopractic. Students have worked hard to prepare for this concert and they’re excited to share the joy of the season through music.
