Accurate Automotive Celebrates Grand Opening

It was hard to miss Accurate Automotive’s new location along Co. Rd. 11 as giant, colorful bouncey houses and dozens of vivid canopies graced the parking lot of the businesses new locality.

Last year in May, owners Brandon and Nicolle Hines began reconstruction of the building many used to associate with Element Arms and Salida businesses. The Hinses had been in business on their homestead property for over 15 years and welcomed the new move to a more front-and-center location.

Saturday, they opened their business to friends, patrons and family to show appreciation to their customers and supporters.

Saturday featured bean bag games and those popular bouncey houses. They had shirts, travel mugs and koozies for sale. Firebuggz had a display of their outdoor products for sale and numerous vendors — including Napa, Lube Tech, Wruck and Tire Solutions were on hand to promote their goods.

Gregg Karnis’ Pronto Pups were a big hit as usual and the parking lot and automotive bays were filled with guests seated at tables and chairs inside and out.

Caricaturist Bill Morgan was also present, sketching dozens of patrons in charcoal and chalk for tips.

The Hinses race car and their towering Hummer were also on display. Stickers were available as well as temporary tattoos for the kiddos and sheets for kids to color the Accurate Automotive mechanic image. The winner of the coloring contest received a bicycle!

There was also a group of tables with prizes given away through drawings.

“We would like to extend a very sincere thank you to everyone that came out and enjoyed their Saturday with us,” Brandon and Nicolle posted to their Facebook page.

“A huge amount of gratitude to all of our vendors that helped to support this event including Monticello Napa, Lube Tech, Tire Solutions, Wruck Companies, BG, Cornwell Tools, Pronto Pups, Hog Heaven and Bill Morgan for doing the caricatures and designing the coloring contest photo. Without their help and support, this event wouldn't have been possible.”

The Hinses also wanted to thank their family members, friends and staff that showed up to help in so many ways.

“You all made this day amazing! You all helped to clean, set up, cook and serve. There aren't words to show our sincere amount of gratitude to each and every one of you, you all made Saturday such a great day!! We hope you all were able to enjoy it as well.”
