Kids in costumes had a blast at the Clearwater Library’s Spooky Storytime Party last Saturday, enjoying Halloween themed stories, crafts and games.
A rambunctious group of Clearwater characters had the right idea, decorating a trailer so they could go trick-or-treating in style.
Cedar South resident Tabitha brought her children, Kyrie and Christopher Jr., niece Tamyra and nephew Terrance door to door looking for treats on Halloween.
Kids like these four, MJ, Devon, Josie and Kali, roamed the streets of Clearwater on Halloween with the hopes of filling their bags with candy.

A Clearwater Halloween

Clearwater was the place to be for youth looking for Halloween fun this past week.

Last Saturday, costumed characters filled the Clearwater Library for their “Spooky Storytime Party.” Kids enjoyed not-too-spooky stories, worked on Halloween crafts and played Halloween-themed games. After the event, each child went home with a goody bag filled with treats and prizes.

Halloween itself saw Clearwater overrun with kids and adults in costumes, both scary and cute, roaming the streets looking for a few tricks and a lot of treats. Some made their rounds on foot, bikes or scooters, while others utilized golf carts and trailers.

No matter how they were touted around, trick-or-treat bags and buckets were stuffed full by the end of the night, ready for the inevitable candy feast to follow.
