Ethel (Olson) Lindquist recently celebrated her 99th birthday with a get-together at Faith Lutheran Church in Becker. Friends and family gathered to celebrate Ethel, who has lived one year shy of an entire century. Ole and Lena made an appearance at the birthday party, providing an entertaining skit (Ethel’s nephew Bryan Olson and his wife Nancy). Ethel was one of ten children in her family. She was born near Becker in 1922 and grew up in the Becker area. She moved to the Oregon coast, where she lived for many years before moving back to Sherburne County approximately 15 years ago.
