The Becker Chamber of Commerce held their annual teacher welcome luncheon Wednesday to meet and greet eight new teachers and seven new administrators to the upcoming school year.

Brandon Buesgens of Becker Spine emceed the event that included introductions, upcoming calendar events, a “minute-to-win-it” challenge and a lunch featuring pasta, salad, breadsticks and cookies.

The eight teachers welcomed Wednesday included Camie Ihrke, Kurt Haag, Josh Otto, Dan Barthel, Malinda Pudlick, Roseanne Welinski, Melissa Bondhus and Jenna Slack.

The new administrative staff includes Supt. Jeremy Schmidt, High School Principal David Kreft, Asst. Middle School Principal Ted Aleckson, Asst. Intermediate Principal Joey Waters,  Intermediate School Principal Nat Boyer, Assistant Supt. of Curriculum & Instruction Minda Anderson and District Nurse Sadie Terwey.
