Five people were arrested and face drug charges after the Sherburne County Drug Task Force executed a search warrant and found methamphetamine at a Princeton Twp. residence.

Investigators searched a residence Tuesday at 3336-85th Avenue after a lengthy investigation regarding large amounts of methamphetamine being brought into Sherburne County and surrounding counties, according to Sheriff Joel Brott.

Drug Task Force investigators found suspected methamphetamine and marijuana and drug paraphernalia at the residence and arrested five people who were present during the search, Brott said.

Booked for investigation of drug possession were Steven Lee Mason, 60, Ashley Ann Longino, 37, and Ricky James Zierbarth, 57, who all lived at the residence. The other two people arrested at the scene were Elvis Saltsman Jr., 51, of Iowa, and Tyshaunie Marlene Rollen, 26, of Minneapolis.

The case was forwarded to the Mille Lacs County Attorney’s Office for review and a decision on appropriate criminal charges.
