The Big Lake Chamber of Commerce held their annual Holiday Social, Thurs., December 7 at Style Catering in Big Lake.
Around 40 members and guests attended the evening with a social hour and a delicious meal of Chicken Romano, Roast beef, mashed potatoes, vegetables and Caesar salad.
The nightly entertainment started with the Big Lake High School Chamber choir along with a few band members and some holiday music. Games of chance including a 50:50 raffle, Heads & Tails, and Spirit table drawings were also played.
The 5th Annual Member of the Year award was granted to Kristi McAlpin of Big Lake Area Veterinary Hospital. Kristi and her staff volunteer and sponsor so many events in the Big Lake area:
“Dr. Kristi and her team volunteer, donate, sponsor and support several community events in Big Lake,” said Executive Director Julie Brandt. “They are a leader in the business community and involved. She is also on the Board for the Wave Youth Center. Thank You!”

The night wrapped up with a delicious cake from Style Catering and lively Live Auction of various donated gifts.
