Part of the fun of attending a business expo is signing up for drawings and giveaways. Stopping by the Clearwater Public Library’s information table during the recent Explore Clearwater/Clear Lake Business Expo to do just that paid off for four lucky attendees.
The Library and Clearwater Area Friends of the Library teamed up with an informational table at the expo that included drawings for a bag of books. At the conclusion of the expo the winning names were drawn; Eileen Langbehn and the Bonhardt family, Natalie, Elliott, and Everett.
As part of the prize for winning the drawing, the recipients were able to fill up a Clearwater Friends of the Library book bag with the books of their choice from the Chapter Two Bookstore. The Friends of the Library run the used bookstore as a means of raising funds to support the Clearwater Library.
The recipients stopped by the library to choose their books the following week.
“They [Natalie, Elliot, and Everett] had so much fun filling that bag,” said Friends of the Library member Jeanne Dirksen.
The Chapter Two Bookstore is open to the public during the Clearwater Library’s regular hours. Everyone is invited to stop in to check out the bookstore’s latest selections.
