On Nov. 9 at 7:28 a.m., a 2010 Chevy Malibu driven by 20-year-old Ryan Brandon Sailor of Sartell, and a 2014 Kia Optima, driven by 28-year-old Ashley Michelle Tradewell of Big Lake, were traveling eastbound on I-94. A 2013 Honda CR-V, driven by 51-year-old Brent Walter Shufelt of Becker, was also eastbound on I-94. The CR-V and Optima collided. The CR-V then rolled and collided with the Malibu in the left lane near Monticello in Wright County.

Tradewell suffered non-life threatening injuries and self-transported themselves to an area health care facility. Shufelt suffered non-life threatening injuries and was transported to St. Cloud Hospital.

Sailor was not injured.

Alcohol was not involved in the crash and all three drivers were wearing their seatbelts.

Assisting at the scene were Wright County Sheriff’s Office, Monticello Fire Dept., Centra Care Ambulance and MnDOT.
