The Sherburne County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to a pickup truck versus pedestrian accident on Tuesday at 7:25 a.m.  

 

A truck driven by Barney Horvath, 88 of Elk River, was westbound on 3rd Avenue South in the city of Zimmerman when it struck two juvenile boys, ages 14 and 15 who were walking on or near the roadway.  

 

One juvenile was flown by helicopter to North Memorial Hospital. The second juvenile was taken by his parent(s) to North Memorial.

 

The accident is currently under investigation.
