A husband and wife in Orrock Twp. were arrested Tuesday after an investigation by the Sherburne County Drug Task Force led them to the search of their Zimmerman-area residence and the discovery of marijuana plants.
Rebecka Jo Fiereck and David Paul Fiereck — the couple living there were taken into custody and charged with multiple counts of drug possession.
Investigators also seized 43 firearms and more than $14,000 in cash.
Investigators learned that residents at 25109-145th St. NW in Orrock Twp. were growing and selling marijuana from their residence, reports Sheriff Joel Brott. During the search, investigators found a growing operation, bags of dried marijuana and marijuana on drying racks.
OTF investigators gathered enough evidence to get a search warrant signed by a Sherburne County judge allowing them to search the residence.
During the search July 18, investigators found the marijuana operation in the basement. They also found numerous bottles of prescription painkillers and baggies with unidentified residue inside along with hundreds of rounds of ammunition.
Rebecka Jo and David Paul Fiereck, both 43, are charged with multiple counts of drug possession.
Rebecka is the owner of the Fringe Salon in Coon Rapids and David has been in the home building business. They have two children.
