Haven Township PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE

Lynden Township Notice of Public Hearing
The Lynden Township Board of Supervisors will hold a public hearing on June 18, 2018 at 7:00 PM at the Lynden Township Hall, 21367 Co. Rd. 44, Clearwater MN 55320 to consider amending portions of Lynden Township Land Use and Zoning Ordinance 7, Lynden Township Subdivision Ordinance #8, and to consider adoption of Lynden Township Ordinance #12, Road and Right-of-Way Specifications.
The intent of the amendments to Ordinance #7 is to correct typographical, grammatical and labeling errors in any Sections and to amend Section 6.7 Animal Feedlot Standards, Section 6.32 Commercial Kennels, and Sections 7.23 & 7.24 Sign Regulations.
The intent of the amendments to Ordinance #8 is to correct typographical, grammatical and labeling errors in any Sections and to simplify the Subdivision process in Lynden Township. Ordinance #8 defines Township Major & Minor Subdivisions and delineates the process to be followed for all subdivision of land within Lynden Township.
The intent of Ordinance #12 is to delineate road, right-of-way, and access standards and uses in a separate ordinance. Those standards were previously outlined in the Appendix of Ordinance #8. Ordinance #12 also imposes less restrictive access standards in certain zoning districts.
The proposed ordinances are available for review on the Lynden Township web site www.lyndentownship.net, at the Clearwater Library and by appointment at the township hall by calling 320-774-8507. All interested persons are invited to attend said hearing or submit written testimony prior to the hearing date.
