Discuss Options for Enhanced Community Communications/Possible Additional Print Materials.

David Unze

Media Specialist Dave Unze and Commissioner Fobbe presented and discussed current countywide communications strategies and potential addition of additional print-based communications for households without computers, broadband, and/or smartphones.  The Board provided direction to County staff. Sample newsletters from other surrounding communities and counties were shared with the group.

Review Park Land/Fee Dedication and Discuss County Fee Schedule Relating to Shoreland Filling and Grading and/or Alteration Fees.

Reviewed and discussed with County staff the current Park Land/Fee Dedication Ordinance. The Board provided feedback. Director of Public Works Andrew Witter informed the group of the current process.

Solid Waste Programs Update.

Solid Waste Administrator Dave Lucas to present on the Solid Waste Management Plan. Due to time constraints and complexity of the issues, the Board requested the discussion items be broken into sections for a future workshop. Lucas and his staff agreed and will return for future workshops to discuss the items.
