The Chair opened the Workshop Meeting.

Discussion of 2021 Legislative Priorities and Consideration of State and Federal Representation Agreements. Administration

Bruce Messelt, County Administrator

Reviewed and provided direction regarding 2021 Legislative Priorities and consideration of State and Federal representation for Sherburne County. Discussion of the Legislative Priority Breakfast with the representatives was discussed as well as narrowing down of the priorities to bring to legislation, a recap of 2020 priorities and a review of suggested 2021 priorities. 

Consider "Next Steps" in Selection and Appointment Process for Sherburne County Board of Adjustment. Planning & Zoning

Nancy Riddle, County Zoning Administrator

Reviewed current applications for consideration for appointment to the Board of Adjustment, consider possible applicant interviews, and direction was provided to County staff as to next steps in the appointment process.

Preliminary Review of 2021 Committee Assignments. Administration

Bruce Messelt, County Administrator, Dan Weber, Assistant County Administrator

Conducted a preliminary review of the 2021 County Commissioner Committee Assignments. A finalized list of assignments will come back to the Board at a later date.
