A special public hearing has been scheduled for August 6, 2018 at 7:000 P.M. This public hearing is being schedule to review a Conditional Use Permit application for Kenneth Linn. The City Council will review an accessory detached garage construction proposal that does not meet the standards in the current Zoning Ordinance. This meeting will take place at City Hall located at 7684 1st Ave West.

The Minnesota Public Utilities Commission (MPUC) issued an Order on April 26, 2018 initiating an investigation under Minnesota Statutes Section 237.081. The investigation concerns whether Frontier Communications of Minnesota, Inc. and Citizens Telecommun-ications Company of Minnesota, LLC, (collectively "Frontier") are or have been in violation of any applicable service quality, customer service, or billing practices relating to telephone services provided by Frontier that are within the jurisdiction of the MPUC.

The Order provides that public hearings be conducted by the Office of Administrative Hearings. Public hearings will be presided over by Administrative Law Judge Jeffery Oxley. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the period for filing affidavits of candidacy for the office of school board member of Independent School District No.726 shall begin on July 31, 2018, and shall close at 5:00 o'clock p.m. on August 14, 2018.
The general election shall be held on Tuesday, November 6, 2018.  At that election, three members will be elected to the School Board for terms of four (4) years each.
