NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the United States, State and City General Election will be held on Tuesday, November 6, 2018 at the City of Becker, City Hall. Voting for this Election will be held in the Council Chamber Room at City Hall, 12060 Sherburne Avenue, Becker, Minnesota (enter through main doors by the flag poles). Poles will be open from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Registration for new City residents will be available on Election Day.

Two City Council Positions – Four-year terms each
Board of Canvass will be held on Tuesday, November 13th, 2018 at 6:00 p.m.

RESOLUTION #2018-3 AMENDMENT TO ORDINANCE NO. 97-100
SANTIAGO TOWNSHIP
Whereas; The Township of Santiago, Sherburne County, Minnesota, does currently have Ordinance No. 97-100, pertaining to the handling of nuisance dogs. But
Whereas; the said township has been notified of the cancellation of the Princeton Animal Clinic’s acceptance of stray dogs due to Minnesota Statute.
Because of this new Minnesota Statute, Santiago Township is forced to cancel said dog ordinance No. 97-100 pertaining to the handing of stray dogs, until further notice, due to circumstances beyond our control.

The School Board reviewed the Board Goals for FY20. A First Reading for Policy 223 Strategic Goals will be on the next school board agenda.
An Overview of our District’s Mental Health Resources and Staff will be provided by Jean Duffy, Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum & Instruction
The School Board entered into a closed session to discuss labor negotiations strategy.
