Section 00100 Advertisement For Bids Community Center Pool Dehumidifier Replacement – Equipment Procurement City Of Becker, Mn

TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN
Sealed proposals for the supply of a new dehumidifier unit for the Becker Community Center (BCC) will be received by the City of Becker, in the City Hall at 12060 Sherburne Avenue, Becker, MN 55308, until 9:00 AM, Tuesday May 17, 2016, after which time such bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at the Becker City Hall. This contract is for the equipment procurement only; the OWNER will award a separate contract for the installation of the new unit. 
All bids must be accompanied by a cash deposit, bid bond, certified bank letter of credit, or certified check made payable to the city for at least five percent (5%) of the bid amount. Such Bid Security to be a guarantee that the bidder will not, without the consent of the OWNER, withdraw his bid for a period of sixty (60) days after the opening of bids, and, if awarded a contract, will enter into a contract with CITY OF BECKER; and the amount of the certified check will be retained or the bond enforced by the OWNER in case the bidder fails to do so.  
Bids must be directed to the City Clerk and must be securely sealed with the following clearly inscribed on the outside: “Bid Proposal for:  BECKER COMMUNITY CENTER POOL DEHUMIDIFIER REPLACEMENT.” 
The OWNER reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any minor irregularities, informalities or discrepancies.
