Chair Jurek called the regular meeting of the School Board of District #726 to order on the 2nd day of

October, 2023 at 6:30 p.m. in the Teaching & Learning Center.

Roll Call.

Members present:  Troy Berning, Ryan Hubbard, Aaron Jurek, Connie Robinson, Corey Stanger,

Pete Weismann

Motion by Troy Berning, seconded by Ryan Hubbard to Approve the Consent Agenda as presented:

Motion carried unanimously.

Motion by Troy Berning, seconded by Pete Weismann, to Extend the First Reading for Policy 722 for 30-60 days.  Motion carried unanimously.

Motion by Connie Robinson, seconded by Corey Stanger, to Accept the Following Gifts:

Baseball Boosters Baseball $150.00

Becker Football Boosters Football $5,147.00

Becker Lions Club DECA $3,000.00

Byers, Y. GSA $25.00

Krenz, K. Baseball $200.00

Liberty Diversified Int’l Baseball $500.00

Motion carried unanimously.

Motion by Troy Berning, seconded by Pete Weismann, to Approve the Following Policy Recommendations:

421.1 Retirement Gifts

450 District-Sponsored Workshops, Conferences, Meetings & Memberships

460 Temporary Duty Assignment for Work-Related Injuries

Motion carried unanimously.

The School Board entered into a Closed Session to Discuss Negotiations Strategy at 7:11 p.m.

The meeting was adjourned at 7:11 p.m.
