BID NOTICE

The Big Lake school district seeks the following: Three Hundred and Fifty (350) - Ubiquiti Unifi Wireless Access Points of various models - please consult tech contact (j.beach@biglakeschools.org) for details. One (1) WAP Controller - school prefers to host physical 1U rack mount virtual controller on site as opposed to cloud based management. 50K ft cabling - Cat-6 cabling with approx. 50 drops to support WAPs - footage in request is a placeholder and actual footage to be determined by vendor or site visit. One Hundred and Ten (110) - Cisco Catalyst Switches, 48-port necessary. Please bid both 9200 and 9300 models for comparison. School prefers PoE++ and 10G uplinks, but would like to compare options and may purchase one, the other, or a combination of models; please discuss with tech contact. Please add line item for redundant power supply cables. Quotes must include all necessary optics, modules, licenses, software, installation, power stacking cables, network stacking cables, mounting brackets, configuration, installation, setup, etc. or otherwise as needed for functionality. 

Please note that equivalent equipment must show compatibility with existing network structure. All projects are subject to eRate fundability and Board approval. Vendors who would like to do a site visit must schedule with the tech contact; no walk-in site visits will be permitted. Vendor must be an eRate eligible provider with active SPIN and must adhere to all state and local guidelines and restrictions. Bid deadline is close of business on Friday, March 1, 2024 and school reserves the right to reject any and all bids received after that deadline.
