PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
The project consists of a single prime work scope for the work relating to the replacement of the existing roofing systems with new BUR roofing system.
BID DATE AND LOCATION:
Sealed Bids will be received at Becker Public Schools – District Office 12000 Hancock St. Becker, MN 55308 then publicly opened and read aloud. Bids will be received and stamped-in prior to 3:30pm local time on 12/17/24. Bids submitted after allotted time will be discarded, NO EXCEPTIONS.
PRE-BID CONFERENCE:
A Pre-Bid conference will be held at 9 am on December 5, 2024 at Becker Highschool, 12000 Hancock St. Becker, MN 55308. If Bidders want to visit the physical site, a site review will take place immediately following the Pre-Bid conference at Becker Primary School. No extras will be allowed because of the Bidder’s misinterpretation as to the amount of work involved, Bidder’s own error, negligence, or failure to examine the site.
START DATE:
Work will begin after receipt of the signed contract from the Owner. The anticipated award date is January 8th, 2025. Pre-construction and submittals work related to the project is to commence immediately after receipt of the signed contract. The onsite work schedule will be dependent on which Alternates (areas) are approved by the owner. Base bid work to begin no later than June 4th, 2025. If selected, some alternate work could begin prior to June 4th, 2025.
SUBSTANTIAL AND COMPLETION DATE:
Owner requires all Base Bid work to be substantially by August 29th, 2025. If selected, some alternate may extend past the Substantial Completion date.
