Notice is hereby given that qualified voters of Clear Lake Township who wish to be candidates for office in Clear Lake Township, Sherburne County, Minnesota, must file an Affidavit of Candidacy with the Township Clerk.

Filing for office will be held for a two week period beginning Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at 8:00 am and closing Tuesday, January 12, 2016 at 5:00 pm. 

Affidavits of Candidacy forms are located on the website: http://www.sos.state.mn.us/index.aspx?page=635 or a form can be mailed to you by calling the Township Clerk at (320) 743-2472. The filing fee is $2.00. Completed Affidavits of Candidacy must be mailed to:

P.O. Box 305, Clear Lake, MN 55319 by January 12, 2016. 

Office subject to election are: one (1) Supervisor for a three (3) year term. The names of candidates properly filed will be printed on the official township ballot for the annual election which will be held at the Clear Lake Township Hall on Tuesday, March 8, 2016 from 10 AM to 8 PM with the annual meeting following.
