AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 11.02, 11.20,
SUBDIVISION 4.A.5., 11.20 SUBDIVISION 6.A.2., AND
11.71, SUBDIVISION 7 OF CHAPTER 11 LAND USE
REGULATION IN CITY CODE

The following official summary of the ordinance referred to has been approved by the City Council of Becker as clearly informing the public of the intent and effect of the amendments.

Chapter 11, Land Use Regulation

Section 11.02 Definitions

     Subd. 7. Zoning District

The ordinance adds a definition for crushed stone to clarify recently adopted language on allowed materials for secondary driveways. The definition states that pit run along with sand and clay binders are and that the material used must be 100% crushed stone including 100% crushed limestone, 100% crushed concrete and 100% crushed quarry stone. Additionally, all graphics relating to primary and secondary driveways were updated accordingly.

The ordinance also removes the prohibition of pole sheds on lots less than half an acre and adds clarification to the wireless telecommunications facilities regulations to ensure that certain upgrades to existing towers do not require a conditional use permit amendment.

A printed copy of the entire ordinance is available for inspection by any person at City Hall any Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4: 30 p.m.
