Becker Township - Notice of Public Hearing

TOWN OF BECKER

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

Notice is hereby given that the Becker Township Planning Commission will hold their monthly meeting at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, September 13, 2021, at Becker Town Hall, 12165 Hancock Street. The Planning Commission will meet to consider the following application(s) and other planning and zoning related topics.  Beginning at approximately 7:01 p.m. and following:

Public hearing for G & M Outdoor Services, LLC & G&M Outdoor Holdings, LLC – Applicants and Ace & R LLC – Owner.  The owner and applicant have submitted a Rezoning Application and are requesting to rezone the parcel located at 15794 County Road 50, Big Lake, MN from General Rural to Commercial.  

Public hearing for G & M Outdoor Services, LLC & G&M Outdoor Holdings, LLC – Applicants and Ace & R LLC – Owner.  The owner and applicant have submitted a Conditional Use Permit Application to establish a retail landscape and indoor small equipment sales business with warehouse space on the parcel located at 15794 County Road 50, Big Lake, MN.

Public Hearing for Kenneth Montague – Applicant and Safe, LLC – Owner.  The owner and applicant have submitted a Conditional Use Permit Application to establish a smoothie and sandwich shop, in a portion of the building located at 16484 149th Street SE, Big Lake, MN.  

Public hearing for Gary “Shooter” Frederickson – Applicant and Owner.  A Comprehensive Plan Land Use Map Amendment to allow 4 parcels at the east end of River Street located in Section 5, Township 33N, Range 28W, to be reclassified from Agriculture to General Rural.

Public hearing for Gary “Shooter” Frederickson – Applicant and Owner.  A Rezoning Application to rezone the property located in Section 5, Township 33N, Range 28W, and identified as parcel 05-005-2100 to be rezoned from the Agricultural District to the General Rural District.

Public hearing for Becker Joint Planning Board Ordinance Amendments as follows:  Amending the Definitions and other administrative sections to define Outlot within the Zoning and Subdivision Ordinance.
