The following official summary of the extraction and filling ordinance amendment has been approved by the Becker Joint Planning Board as clearly informing the public of the intent and effect of the ordinance amendment.
Becker Joint Planning Board Zoning Ordinance
It is the intent of the following ordinance amendment to regulate extraction and filling operations in a manner that ensures the protection of the planning process and the health safety, and welfare of the citizens of the Town of Becker.
Upon the foregoing Findings and Intent, the Becker Joint Planning Board, does hereby amend the Becker Joint Planning Zoning Ordinance as follows:
1. Section 5, Definitions and Rules of Language Construction, Subdivision 5.02, Definitions, Extraction, shall be amended.
2. Section 7, Agriculture District, Subdivision 7.05, Interim Uses, shall be amended.
3. Section 13, Heavy Industrial, Subdivision 13.04, Interim Uses, shall be amended.
4. Section 16, General Performance Standards, Number 11 shall be added.
5. Section 16, General Performance Standards, Number 12 shall be added.
Section 16, General Performance Standards, existing items shall be renumbered to follow sequentially after the addition of 11. Extraction, Major and 12. Extraction, Minor.
