To The Editor

Until recently moving, I chose to call Becker home. I spent years of my life serving the community and have been employed at Becker Furniture World for 26 years. Even though I don’t live here, Becker will always be where I am from.

The reason I am writing this is because of the upcoming election, more specifically the Mayoral race. I am not going to disparage the current Mayor, but I have not seen many solutions coming from him.

The job of an elected official is not easy, some would say thankless. That is why you need someone that will stay true to the cause and not waiver depending on the audience. Tracy Bertram is that leader. She has worked countless hours, mainly behind the scenes, to help make this a better community.

Mayor Kleis is a nice guy, but I would ask this; the man sued the city he was elected to lead. How do you sue your own city for $50,000 and still ask the citizens to let you lead it?

This November, make the right choice, vote for Tracy Bertram.
