I’d like to apologize to all the families of the loved ones lost and to the first responders whose lives are changed forever by our government’s lack of judgment for our speed limit of 60 miles per hour through the City of Becker on Hwy. 10.
In a world that lives their lives 10 minutes late and the epidemic of distracted drivers we don’t need our government to add to the carnage. 45 miles an hour speed limit would greatly reduce the fatalities.
I really like the pretty yellow flashing lights they installed (what a joke) it doesn’t slow anybody down. And the big plan to re-route the on ramps to Hwy. 10 is a great idea. But how many lives have to be lost until that happens. I’m so sorry I allowed this to happen. Calling my pathetic career politician didn’t work. I suggest the Dept. of Transportation pull their head out and get their act together. It doesn’t take that much effort to change a few signs.
I’ve got plenty of spray paint if you want to cut costs. I have two daughters who drive on Hwy. 10 every day. Every time I see the flashing lights from the first responders, my heart sinks.
Thanks to all the first responders who do a heck of a job in our community. To whoever regulates our speed limits, don’t mess with the bandmaster. You’ll get your horn broke.
