Where is our mayor? Has anyone seen her? Has she been to visit any businesses in Becker to see what she can do for them? Has she had a public forum with the citizens to voice their concerns? Most senators and congressman return back to their states and districts and hold town hall meetings.

 

Her predecessor visited every business in Becker at least once a year to hear their concerns. He also held “coffee with the mayor” meetings once a month at a local establishment to meet everyday citizens and hear their concerns. What is she doing to represent you? Has she been to an American Legion meeting to check on our veterans who do so much for our city? Has she been to a Becker Lions meeting, who also do equally as much for the city or reached out to the Ladies Auxiliary of the American Legion to see if they need any help? I challenge her to answer these questions to you the citizens of Becker.

 

The 2018 elections are 16 months away, I do not know who will be running but Mr. Hendrickson and Mrs. Keller need to take note. Get off the bench and become a starter. We the citizens of Becker are watching your actions, inactions as well as your voting record as well as the mayors. Leadership by example is what the city of Becker is in need of.

 

Action is more that banging a gavel twice a month. In closing I would like to remind our mayor and fellow citizens that, like him or not, President Donald Trump held and holds town hall meetings to hear voter’s concerns, problems, wishes and shakes their hand.

 

Who’s hand has our mayor shook in the last six months? If there is a citizen our there that can answer “yes” please respond and I will gladly give credit where credit is due.
