To The Editor

I’m writing this on behalf of the residents of Santiago Township. A few issues came up at our last meeting.

We’ve had some vandalism on our roadways. I’m sure Ms. Eichler and Ms. Hare may encourage artistic activities, but not the place or subject matter.

I’m also sure Supervisor Pappanfuss had better things to do on a Sunday morning that clean up the paint on that bridge. Parents, control your children because the deputies are watching.

The other issue we had was the behavior of some older residents and the ATV activities. Most at the meeting thought this letter to be a waste of time because these young men’s activities suggest a lack of common sense and abilities.

I however, have faith in the education system, but I will keep my message at one syllable words. Do not tear up our roads with your ATV. We all think you are bone-heads. The cops will watch for you too. Grow up and get a life.

At any rate, now anyone who is using at ATV will be under suspicion and the sheriff’s department will have to control irresponsible behavior. We’ll all have to spend more as taxpayers to clean up and repair the damage. Thanks.

If any of you feel you have a right to tear up roads and/or paint dirty pictures on bridges, feel free to attend our next meeting.

Stuart Nelson,
Chairman
Santiago Board of Supervisors.
