I have to agree with a letter to the editor by Dennis Carlson. Our city council is elected to serve the taxpayers and to make decisions that are in our best interest. They  discontinued the service of picking up fall leaves which isn’t the only service they’ve discontinued but a very important one for most of us. It seems more important for them to spend millions on the golf course that only benefits a few than to spend a few thousand on a new machine that would benefit most of the homeowners in Becker.
