Its time the elected officials in the city of Becker spend a little more time talking about and fixing the unsafe intersection problem we have in our city and stop bickering about the golf course. There are multiple intersections in our area that have crash reconstruction paint and there have been multiple fatal crashes, yet no effort seems to be made to correct it.

 

The commuters and responders in and through our community deserve safer conditions. Its time for a stoplight at 10 and Sherburne. 

 

Also, we could use a paved safe path for families to get to the city park, as of now children and families are forced to use a busy county road with a narrow shoulder or an unpaved, poorly marked trail if they take any mode other than a motor vehicle to get there.
