This is in response to your staff writer Bill Morgan’s column about the “March at the Capitol” made me sad-and mad. To portray the Stoneman Douglas High School students as non-students (David Hogg is a student there) as a bunch of bad players goes against the very right to have peaceful and legal protests via the 1st amendment.
Your dedication to the NRA is expected seeing as you see it as nothing more than an educational tool. They do not regulate and therefore will do anything to change the dynamics of their lobbying efforts. They currently are suing, Florida, New York and California for their changes in their gun laws to help protect their citizens. As a Vietnam Vet that is the ultimate in violence and I wouldn’t wish that on anyone. Many people believe in God, his love unifies us as one in his eyes and does not engage in fear or hate mongering. Divisiveness is the opposite of oneness.
