Dave and Barb Hemmer wish to thank their friends and family who attended the 50th anniversary celebration Sun., Feb. 9 and donated $645 in cash, checks, and gift cards and 522 pounds of food to the Clearwater Food Shelf.

Our second annual Family Literacy Night was a huge success thanks to all the great volunteers and numerous donations.
Our event was planned and implemented by the Becker Intermediate School Library Committee, made up of: Christine Glomski, Kathy Sachs, Caroline Olsen, Stacy Spindler, Anna Kunz and Kathy Wiant.
Thank you to the Becker PTSA for providing both pizza and volunteers for our event. Thank you to the numerous Becker staff members and National Honor Society students who volunteered their time and energy for this event. Because of donations from 4th grade teachers, Follett Library Resources and Mackin books, we were able to put books into the hands of every student who attended our event.
