TO THE EDITOR:
I would like to call attention to Tom Emmer’s stance on the 2021 Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, which he labeled “Biden’s Socialist Wish List”. Emmer, along with many other Republicans, voted against the bill.(In fact, none of the House Republicans from Minnesota supported the bill.) But soon after the bill passed, Mr. Emmer requested funds for CD6, saying that the funding was vital to his district’s economic health. There are 10 road projects and two water treatment projects in CD6 being funded by the infrastructure bill to the tune of 40 million dollars. In addition, the State of Minnesota will receive $4.8 billion dollars over five years for highways and bridges. So which is it? A socialist plot or vital funding, Mr. Emmer? We have a choice in November. Jeanne Hendricks is honest about where she stands on issues. She is a woman of integrity. Please learn more about her and what she hopes to accomplish.

TO THE EDITOR:
Minnesota citizens have had a unique political month to ponder in the years and decades to come. First, we along with the rest of the country witnessed a coup of the president. No it wasn’t violent but it was a coup. Biden was removed by arm twisting not seen or experienced in American history. Learn the constitution and you’ll support my opinion. Secondly, we will witness local media outlets swoon over Czar Waltz to nauseous levels. They will make Taylor Swift ‘swifties’ look like paulbearers. They have let him slide on Covid fraud, wasteful use of billions of surplus funds, George Floyd disaster, his unheroic departure from the National Guard and allowing thousands of dollars worth a PPE supplies rot in his 7 million dollar morgue debacle. Watch as local news outlets roll out the red carpet and all but pass out from an appearance of Czar Waltz. Put in a large order of barf bags and adult diapers....you’ll need them.
