TO THE EDITOR:
Shame on Governor Waltz. Shame on Lt. Flanagan. Shame on the entire State legislation. Shame on our Senators and Representatives. Shame on our spineless media. Embarrassment and disgust with Omar. Shame on Senetors Klobuchar and Smith. Why the shaming you ask? Not one has stood in support of our Jewish community, not one has condemned the pro Hamas pro terrorists thugs in our universities, cities and towns. Not a word from any of them. We should be embarrassed and angry. But again I’m not really surprised, a state where our largest international airport is named after the most well known anti semite, nazi sympathizer and racist Charles Lindbergh...it all makes sense.

TO THE EDITOR:
Is your son starting at a public college this fall? If so, prepare him for some big changes. The Biden administration recently adopted new Title IX regulations that come into effect August 1, 2024. Parents, your sons need to know -- before setting foot on campus -- that their due process and free speech rights will be violated under those new regulations. Make sure he has an attorney on speed dial in case he is accused of sexual misconduct. The Foundation for Individual Rights and Expression (FIRE) summed it up well: “[The] regulations undermine the basic elements of due process in Title IX proceedings, including: eliminate the right to a live hearing to contest the allegations; eliminate the right to cross-examine one’s accuser and witnesses; weaken the right to be represented by lawyers in campus sexual misconduct expulsion proceedings; and allow for the return of the “single-investigator” model, in which a single administrator serves as prosecutor, judge, and jury.” Further, your student’s First Amendment rights are violated by forcing teachers and fellow students to use a student’s “preferred pronouns.” As Betsy DeVos, the former Education Secretary warned, “This is an endeavor born entirely of progressive politics, not sound policy.” The Biden administration’s change will harm young men. Demand that your elected officials take action to prevent this outrage.
