TO THE EDITOR:

Dear fellow residents of Becker and surrounding communities, Thanksgiving is upon us. As a Christian, I am thankful for my life, for my wonderful wife and children, for all the wonderful relationships I have been blessed with, as well as for friends I have yet to meet. As one who lives in our community and works as the assistant director in charge of designing and making the sets for our school plays, I also count myself blessed to get to work with so many fantastic students. To this end, I am thankful for living in a community that cares about the arts and its youth. Also, as a person who gets a local paper that is written by local people who care about local happenings, I am thankful for the staff of our Patriot Newspaper who seek to keep us informed. Blessings to you my neighbors, and I hope you get a chance to come and enjoy Bye Bye Birdie our Fall Musical at Becker Performing Art Center on Nov.  17th - 19th, Happy Thanksgiving and peace upon you during this time of remembrance.
