Letters To The Editor

TO THE EDITOR:
We have an important vote coming up Aug 14. It is narrowing the field of potential Wright Co. Sheriff’s candidates. This isn’t a popularity contest.
I’m writing in support of Stacy Braun. He is the most qualified for these reasons:
He’s worked the past 25 years in every department for Hennepin county sheriff’s department. Including their jail system. He has been all over the country as a duly sworn ATF & DEA officer. He is an active union member and has been part of negotiating contracts. He is a successful business owner.
Stacy was raised in this county and now is ready to serve this county. He believes as the third largest Sheriff’s department, we need to up our game in training, equipment & retaining deputies and use his contacts and grant writing skills all to save the wright county tax payers money.
Stacy’s broad array of skills he brings is what this county needs. He is self- funding his campaign so he can go in and fix the multiple problems with morale and make it an efficient, progressive department we need.
Please consider going to the primary Aug. 14 and voting for Stacy Braun for Wright County Sheriff.

TO THE EDITOR:
Two weeks ago Liberty Diversified and Liberty Paper came to our community as part of their 100 year Gratitude Tour. As part of that tour they went to communities all over the country, including Becker, and their operations in Mexico.
As part of that tour they picked local non-profit organizations that do great work in their communities and give back.
Our organization was one of those beneficiaries. Words cannot express the gratitude and thoughtfulness we felt when we found out that were being awarded this gift. Becker should be proud to have this company in our community. With this contribution, we will continue to strive to help as many kids as we can.
