Letters To The Editor

TO THE EDITOR:

Since my legislative service, many people have inquired about campaigning for office.  Myron Wilson is one I’ve always encouraged.  He genuinely cares about the future of our next generations.

However when Myron asked about running as an Independent I pushed back three times saying: I didn’t think it’s a good idea.  But, as he stated his reasons, my legislative experience made me realize his vision is critical for these times; and his courage, work ethic and passionate blend of mercy and truth will not fail us.

Now to observe a growing number of people supporting his reform message of stopping the destructive influence of special interest money, we have a recipe for great success.

With the people’s support, Independent Myron Wilson can truly unravel this mess. Our American God-given rights of Declared Independence need to be Re-Declared.

Myron is a retired State Trooper we need to send to St. Paul. Vote Independent for Myron Wilson and let’s make a difference together.

Mark Olson,
Becker, MN.

TO THE EDITOR:

I personally want to thank Diane Arnold and her Staff for bring excellent service and stability to the Sherburne County Treasurer's office.

As a former City Clerk for 44 years, I have witnessed the changing duties of the Auditor-Treasurer's office. We are not the small county we once were!

Diane and her excellent staff were always available and patient to help in providing budget financial information, election updates and other necessary mandate information.

Diane Arnold has seen significant growth in Sherburne County and added responsibilities to the Sherburne County Auditor Treasures Office. Diane Arnold provides stability in investing county funds and complying to State and Federal mandates. Thank you Diane Arnold for your dedicated appreciation of Sherburne County and the Auditor Treasurer's Office.

TO THE EDITOR:

I competed against Karla in the 2018 primary. We don’t always agree, but there was one thing that I never questioned about her; her care for her community and her belief in a better tomorrow. Her website and her social media doesn’t attack anyone. She doesn’t lose focus on the voters and the issues that we face. You won’t see her chiming in on the national drama of the day.

Karla is a substitute teacher, former day care provider, first aid instructor, and Tri-Cap board member. Karla is a pro-life democrat. She knows that we need to bring our children into an environment in which they have an honest chance to succeed. Blue, Red or In-between, which of us disagree with that? She believes in quality of life from the womb to the tomb.

If you care about you, your children, and grandchildren’s access to good paying jobs, vote Karla. If you believe family farms are worth saving, vote Karla. If you want your leader to rise above the daily drama, vote Karla. If you want to see a politics of hope instead of fear, vote for Karla Scapanski Nov. 6.

TO THE EDITOR:

Our country is stuck in a severe red/blue divide. Gone are the days that Congress worked together to get things done, and most people voted based on issues and not on party. All issues are important, but one issue prevents the others from moving forward. Big Money corruption.

Federal election spending has skyrocketed to almost Seven Billion Dollars. Most of it coming from special interest Big Donors. This is not charity. They want a return on that money – making Congress beholden to special interests; not us.

Ian Todd is committed to getting Big Money out of politics, freeing him to represent us and not special interests. Todd has promised to fight corruption; not be led by it. Ian Todd will work for Americans, not Big Money. Vote Nov. 6 for Ian Todd.
