Mr. Maskowski claims that his opinion about Pebble Creek not being an asset to Becker is supported by an "expert opinion" that he gathered from going door knocking prior to the City Council election. He said that "80% of Becker residents want nothing to do with golf." The main platform of his campaign was to sell Pebble Creek. If his numbers were remotely factual, then he should have received 1,800 votes and won by a landslide. However, he only received 417 votes which does not support his expert opinion. One would think just the opposite of his so called expert opinion as the election results would better support that conclusion. Maybe it is time to stop bashing the golf course and move on.
