I am writing to commend your writer, Katherine Cantin, for her article on Teaching Students about Race Issues which you published in your Aug. 7, 2021 issue. Katie did an excellent job of laying out all the issues involved in CRT being part of the public schools’ curriculum. Katie’s article should be read at all school board meetings and copies given to all parents. I agree 100% with what she wrote.

I would also like to let you know how much we like having your paper back in our community. You do a great job of informing us and providing many interesting and thought-provoking articles. Welcome back and keep up the good work.

I would like to thank all the golfers and sponsors for coming and supporting Dylan’s Hope Golf Tournament this year.   It was hard to believe that we broke another participation record for golfers again this year.  Also a special thanks to Morrie’s Buffalo Ford for the opportunity to win a brand new car, Hubbard Electric for a chance at a new side by side and Total Construction Solutions for a $15,000 cash prize as hole-in-one opportunities and Colonel Ray Henry from IRAY Companies for bringing life to our auctions every year.  Thank you to Pebble Creek Golf Club for hosting a wonderful event and meal again.  It is support from all of you which allows us to be able to help so many kids in our community.  Your support does not go unrecognized and is greatly appreciated.
