TO THE EDITOR:
Juneteenth a holiday or you’re a racist.
The creation of a new federal holiday was a mistake made possible by our spineless Representatives and Senators. I say spineless because most were obviously afraid of voting against this holiday for fear of being labeled racist. If June 19th was the day in which the Irish were released from servitude, of which there were over 300,000, would there be a national holiday to celebrate it? No, because of their skin color.
Is June 19, 1865, a historical event? Yes, but it does not rise to the level worthy a National Holiday.
So what is going to be the result of this new National holiday? Besides the obvious yearly loss in productivity of billions of dollars, we have created another tool that can be used to divide our citizens by race. It won’t matter why one opposes Juneteenth as a National Holiday for they will be labeled racist by the usual crowd.
So what I propose is that those that oppose this latest holiday take out their frustrations by removing their elected Senators and Representatives at their next election and elect people with a little more spine and good sense.

TO THE EDITOR:
Minnesota folks, pay heed. Fort Snelling, the oldest military outpost in Minnesota and a great tourist attraction what was built to keep the peace between the Indian tribes, has been taken over by activist groups and the new museum will now depict the fort as more of a “concentration camp” and have displays of “inequity” and a place of genocide and a site of “conscience”, whatever that means? Where are the people fighting this activist lunacy? In fact, the fort was used also to train soldiers and feed and shelter Indian women and children after the Dakota War in Minnesota. More real history being destroyed, tampered with or whatever you call it. Rise up folks and let them know your disgust. Also, Democrats in every Democrat run state are refusing to remove DEAD people from voter rolls. I think we all know why. Those mailed out ballots and names of DEAD people will come in handy. Georgia audit now says that 100,780 obsolete voters including 18,486 DEAD people. Wherever audits have taken place, they are finding the same scenario. Think about that.
